BAKED CHEESE OMELETTE

Ingredients:
Butter - 50 gms
Onions - 2 (sliced)
Mushrooms - 8 (sliced)
Eggs - 8
Salt and pepper
Milk - 1-2 tbsp
Cooked peas - 2 tbsp
Cheese - 150 gms (grated)

Method:

  • preheat oven to moderate, 350 F.
  • Grease a deep oven proof pie plate with some of the butter.
  • Melt rest of butter and fry onion and mushrooms till tender.
  • Beat together eggs,milk, sat and pepper.  Turn into buttered pie plate.
  • Put onions, mushroom and peas in egg mixture and top with grated cheese.
  • Bake in centre of oven for 30-35 minutes
