Ingredients:
Horse Gram - 150 gms
Green chillies - 4
Ginger - 1/4 " piece
Onions - 3
Coriander leaves - small bunch
Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Peppercorns - 10
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil
Method:
Horse Gram - 150 gms

Method:
- Soak the horse gram overnight.
- Grind together the horse gram, green chillies, ginger, onions, coriander leaves, coconut, fennel powder, peppercorns and rice flour to a rather coarse paste without adding water.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Heat oil in deep frying pan, take lemon size ball from batter, press it into vada shape and drop in hot oil. Fry both sides until golden.
- Do the same with remaining batter.
- Serve hot.
